Nintendo’s Wii U Console Gets Crafty; Minecraft to Release in December!

On December 17th, 2016, Nintendo gamers will finally get a chance to play Mojang’s hit video game Minecraft.  For $29.99 Wii U owners will be able to purchase the video game in the Nintendo eShop.  Many of the same features will still exist, but a new feature is introduced strictly for the Wii U which is an off-TV play.  Players will be able to continue crafting via the U GamePad controller if someone in the household would want to watch something else on TV.  Below are the available skin packs that are included with the game.

In addition to the content that comes with the game, players will also be able to expand their experience with 16 additional add-on packs available for purchase within the Nintendo eShop at launch:

As always, Mojang has also promised to release more add-ons in the future.
