Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice is getting the R rated treatment. Batman v. Superman Dawn of Justice Ultimate Editon Blu-Ray to be Rated R That is only on the Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray version that is.  According to Film Ratings, Bulletin No: 2413 which is the Motion Pictures Rated by the Classification and Rating Administration has given the green light for BvS:DOJ to be rated R.  You can pretty much assume that this follows Marvel’s money maker Deadpool and the newly announced Wolverine 3, which both carry or will be carrying the R rating, but BvS:DOJ is not only following the footsteps of these two comic book to movie films.  Remember The Crow, V for Vendetta, Kingsman, Watchment, 300, the list goes on and on.  Batman v. Superman : Dawn of Justice will be rated R based on sequences of violence.  Looks like you won’t be seeing Wonder Woman in her birthday suit fellas!

Batman v. Superman : Dawn of Justice stars Gal Gadot, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams and is directed by Zack Snyder.  The movie hits theaters March 25th 2016.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is an upcoming American superhero film featuring the DC Comics characters Batman and Superman, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It is the follow-up to 2013’s Man of Steel and the second installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is directed by Zack Snyder, with a screenplay written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. The film was announced at 2013 San Diego Comic-Con International, after the release of Man of Steel. Snyder and Goyer were both brought back in June 2013. Snyder stated that the film would take inspiration from the Batman limited series The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller, but that it would follow an original premise. Pre-production began at East Los Angeles College in October 2013, with principal photography starting in May 2014 in DetroitMichigan, with additional filming in ChicagoIllinois. Filming concluded in December 2014. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 25, 2016, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D.
